Olayemi Ikhile, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC: affectionately known as Dr. O; is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of clinical experience in primary care and mental health treatment. She provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, addressing both physical health and the emotional and psychological challenges that often accompany it.
Dr. O specializes in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and ADHD treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. She integrates evidence-based psychiatric care with a whole-person, holistic approach — combining medication management, patient education, and compassionate support to help individuals find clarity, purpose, and lasting wellness.
Her clinical interests include preventive care, mental health education, and trauma-informed practice. She is passionate about creating a safe, culturally sensitive space where every patient feels seen, heard, and empowered; because she believes lasting wellness begins with human connection as much as medical care.
Dr. O holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Sacred Heart University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Walden University, where she completed advanced training as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. O channels her creativity into writing inspirational children's books, photography, and cycling; always devoted to helping others experience healing, wholeness, and hope.
